The Van Lears
 |
The Van Lears are brothers Trey and Andrew Bentley. These two young men bring a musical maturity far beyond their years. Trey 22, and Andrew 19, were born and raised in Calhoun, Georgia. The brothers grew up with songwriting parents and, quite literally, were making music before they could walk. Trey's lead vocal and Andrew's harmonies are reminiscent of their favorite sibling duo The Everly Brothers, but as you will hear The Van Lears have their own distinctive harmony only brothers can share.
The Van Lear name was inspired by one of their heroes, Loretta Lynn, who was raised in Van Lear, Kentucky, and whose mother was known as the Van Lear Rose. While their sound couldn't be mistaken for that of one of the Queens of country music, it comes from a place just as true.
The duo has been working in the studio with Ted Hewitt who produced Rodney Atkins' breakthrough album containing the number one hits from the past year, "Going Through Hell", "Cleaning This Gun" and "Watching You" and the recent #1 single "It's America".
