Steve McEwan

Steve McEwan, guitarist with the band World Party, Robbie Williams and others has become a much sought after songwriter around the world. Signing a deal with Trinifold music, Steve was introduced to BMG Music Publishing's, Paul Curran by The Who management team of Bill Kirbishly and Robert Rosenberg. He formed and became the lead singer and songwriter of his own band UnAmerican. They opened for The Who and Neil Young on major tours around the world.

It was on a writing trip to Nashville Tennessee where Steve’s was brought to the attention of country superstar Faith Hill, who recorded three songs from his UnAmerican cd. That set in motion a writing career that would lead him to cuts by many of the major artists in the country market and beyond. Steve quickly became a favorite of not only Faith Hill, but also husband Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Brooks and Dunn and others. He is the author of hits singles such as "Young" (Kenny Chesney), "That's What It's All About" (Brooks & Dunn) and the Tim McGraw single "My Old Friend".

Since that time Steve has landed cuts on the new Kenny Chesney cd for Kenny Chesney 'The Road and The Radio', American Idol Winner Carrie Underwood cd "Some Hearts," newly signed James Morrison (Uprising, How Come, My Last Goodbye) and Roger Daltrey ('A Second Out' from his latest Anthology album).

Steve now lives in New York and is writing with artist like LeAnn Rimes, Robert Randolph, Sara Buxton and Rob Thomas to name a few.
