Keith Anderson

Keith Anderson was born in a rural town called Miami in the great state of Oklahoma, which has produced a multitude of musical successes. One thing was sure about Keith...from an early age he was born with a drive to succeed. Gifted in many areas, Keith excelled in academics and sports while courting a great love for music and performing.
Beginning with his college years at Oklahoma State University, Keith received the Top Ten Freshman Award. He then went on to graduate Number One in his class at OSU in Construction Engineering with a 3.9 GPA. Like most red-blooded All-American boys growing into manhood, Keith competed in sports of all varieties. From an electrifying second place (2nd) finish in the Mr. Oklahoma bodybuilding competition - to selection on the Oklahoma All-State Football Team and the coveted and nationally ranked OSU Baseball Team. Keith's poise, dedication and talent found a slot on the impressive draft list of the Kansas City Royals baseball organization. But after a shoulder injury ended his pursuit of a professional baseball career, he became more passionate about his love of music, honing in on his writing and performing talents. After graduating from OSU in December 1990, Keith took a position with a top construction engineering company. A year and a half later, Keith left the engineering company for Physical Therapy School at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. His serious study habits were constantly being interfered with by his real love of a musical career, so Keith decided to concentrate on singing and writing country music.
His dedication and hard work paid off. He was signed to the worlds leading music publisher, EMI Music. Immediately, he had the smash duet, "Beer Run", performed by Garth Brooks and the legendary George Jones. On May 3rd, 2005, Keith released his own album, "Three Chord Country and America Rock & Roll" for Arista records. His first single "Pickin' Wildflowers" was a top 10 hit and his second single "XXL" is climbing the charts.
